WELCOME TO THE FUTURE AND THE PAST AND THE DARK CORNERS OF YOUR HEART

The doorway to the future is now open. Please don't attempt to bribe Madame Sosostris with promises of sweets and exotic teas. She accepts no fees for her readings, believing that to take coin for such a gift would condemn her to the land of the dead and a hereafter of giant, talking centipedes.

Good evening Madame Sosostris,
If I might but find a moment of favor in your sight, would you, who holds the key to both the future and the dark secrets of the heart, graciously grant me a small look into the future world that awaits me, and pray shine a light into the dark recesses of my heart thereby purging the demons that cease not their torment?

since madame did such a piss-poor reading for you last night, she decided to do a quick, one-card read and drew the WORLD. this card symbolizes success. madame hopes it will eliminate the night terrors.

Madame- I already feel better. Thanks :)

Hats off to you Anne, hats off. (Back in high school, I learned to read the Major and Minor Arcana, including reversed cards, to impress girls. Pathetic....)

I'd like a reading as well, if it's in the cards. The publishing world is a gloomy landscape, how would I fare there?

thanks, jason!

madame will put the names in a queue and do readings as the mood strikes. (she drinks heavily, and is often wasted by noon and passed out before supper.) She will most likely do a few readings per week.

lol. Sounds like a great day...now, only if I weren't teaching, I too, could pass out by noon.

In fact, I bet most of the kids would never even notice...

Madame- I hope a Happy Thanksgiving is in the cards for you. :)

Madame Sosostris - I crave one of your famous readings before Sept.5 if you have the time. I would be happy to be one of your 100 Pimp Bloggers on that day in exchange. :)
My own WIP needs some spice and wit in the suspense department.
